Collection: Hi-Capa/1911 Hop Ups

The purpose of the hop-up unit is to apply backspin to the BB for increased range and improved accuracy. By creating a controlled backspin, the hop-up unit counteracts gravity and allows the BB to stay airborne longer, resulting in a flatter trajectory and better performance. Upgraded hop-up units are often made from durable materials like aluminum or brass and are designed for a tighter seal and more consistent pressure on the BB.

Applies backspin: The hop-up unit uses a soft rubber part to create friction on the top of the BB as it exits the barrel, giving it backspin.

Improves accuracy and range: This backspin creates a “Magnus effect,” which lifts the BB and helps it fly farther and straighter than it would without the hop-up engaged.

Allows for adjustments: Players can adjust the hop-up to find the "sweet spot" where the BB has a flat trajectory for as long as possible, maximizing both range and accuracy.

Offers upgrade potential: The hop-up unit is a common upgrade for Hi-Capa and 1911 platforms, as aftermarket units can offer a more consistent seal, better materials for durability, and more precise adjustment mechanisms.
