The Empire Invert MINI Bolt Guide Cap (Velocity Adjuster) is to precisely control the velocity (speed in feet-per-second, or FPS) of the paintballs being fired from the marker.
By adjusting this component, the user can ensure their paintball marker's velocity is within safe and legal limits (typically under 300 FPS) required by all regulated paintball fields.
How it Works
• The component is located at the back of the MINI's main body.
• A hex screw within the cap is used for adjustment with an Allen wrench.
• To decrease velocity, the adjustment screw is tightened (screwed in clockwise).
• To increase velocity, the adjustment screw is loosened (unscrewed counter-clockwise) in small increments.
• Velocity adjustments should only be made in small increments (quarter turns or less) and must be verified using a paintball-specific radar chronograph.
• The primary operating pressure of the regulator (located at the bottom of the grip frame) should be confirmed to be at the standard ~200 PSI before using the back cap for final velocity tuning.
