The HK Army HPA Compressed Air Tank Regulator burst disc acts as a crucial safety valve on paintball HPA tanks, preventing dangerous over-pressurization by blowing out and releasing air if pressure exceeds a set limit (like 1.8K or 7.5K PSI), protecting the tank regulator.

How They Work:

• Pressure Relief: When the air pressure inside the tank or regulator gets too high (e.g., from regulator failure), the small burst disc physically ruptures, venting the excess air to prevent explosion.

• Two Types on a Tank: Most tanks have two: a high-pressure (7.5K) disc near the tank valve to protect the tank itself, and a low-pressure (1.8K) disc downstream to protect the marker's regulator and internals.

Warning! Ensure the tank is completely emptied of air before installation.
