It provides a male 14mm CCW thread to a female 14mm CCW thread, allowing the attachment of accessories like suppressors or tracer units while providing additional clearance from handguards or internal components. This extension is beneficial for covering a longer inner barrel, clearing handguard rails, or improving the compatibility of tracer units.
