The Retro Arms Inner Barrel Damping Centering Pad is used in airsoft guns to center the inner barrel, especially when it extends through a silencer, to prevent damage and improve accuracy. It is a type of spacer that secures the inner barrel inside a silencer or an outer barrel to prevent any movement, making it especially useful for long inner barrels. 

Primary applications

• Extending the inner barrel through a silencer: When an inner barrel is routed through a silencer, the pad keeps the barrel centered and prevents it from hitting the silencer's internal walls or foam. This is crucial for maintaining accuracy and preventing damage to the inner barrel or the projectile.

• Long barrel support: The pad provides a damping and centering function for very long inner barrels, helping to stabilize them within the outer barrel. 

How it works

• The pad has a helical construction that allows it to be inserted into a silencer or outer barrel.

• Once the inner barrel is inserted, the pad expands and locks into place, gripping both the inner barrel and the inside of the outer barrel or silencer.

• This holds the inner barrel securely in a central position, which is especially important when using precision and longer barrels.
