Retro Arms AEG Gearbox Sector Delay Clip (GG07-04)

The Retro Arms Sector Delay Clip is a component for Airsoft AEGs that improves BB feeding reliability, especially in high rate-of-fire (ROF) builds. Its purpose is to increase the time the air nozzle is retracted, allowing the magazine more time to load a BB into the hop-up chamber, which helps prevent feeding issues like double-feeding and chopping. The clip works by holding the tappet plate back for a longer duration during the gearbox cycle.

Purpose

• It's a necessary upgrade for builds with high-speed motors or batteries that significantly increase the ROF beyond the standard timing.

• By delaying the tappet plate's movement, the clip ensures a BB is properly seated in the hop-up unit before the next BB is fed. 

Important considerations

• Installation: Requires opening the gearbox, which is recommended for those with experience or who are familiar with AEG internals.

• Orientation: The clip can be installed in two orientations, which affects the feeding timing differently.

• Semi-auto: May not be necessary for all builds, but can still be beneficial for improving reliability even in semi-auto fire mode.
