The purpose of the SHS AEG Gearbox Sector Gear Delayer Clip is to solve BB feeding problems, especially in high rate-of-fire (RoF) airsoft gun builds. The brass construction offers enhanced durability over plastic alternatives. 

Purpose

The primary function of the delayer clip is to modify the timing of the air nozzle's movement within the gearbox cycle. It is installed onto the sector gear's tappet plate cam and works by: 

• Retracting the tappet plate for a longer duration during each gearbox cycle.

• Allowing more time for the next BB to feed properly from the magazine into the hop-up chamber before the air nozzle moves forward to seal the system.
