Tippmann 98/A5 Sear #02-35

The Tippmann 98/A5 Sear #02-35 is a trigger sear that acts as a key component in the marker's firing system, controlling the hammer release. Its purpose is to catch and hold the hammer, then release it when the trigger is pulled to fire the paintball. A worn sear can cause the marker to "rapid fire" or fire uncontrollably, so replacing it is necessary to maintain proper function. 

• Function: The sear is part of the trigger mechanism that keeps the hammer cocked. When you pull the trigger, it releases the hammer to fire the gun.

• Troubleshooting: If your marker is firing rapidly on its own, the sear is likely worn out and needs to be replaced.

• Compatibility: Part #02-35 is a replacement sear for the Tippmann 98 Custom (with ACT), A5, and other non-electronic models like the TMC and Alpha Black.
