The WGP Autococker cocking rod is a critical component of an Autococker or Pump paintball marker, responsible for pulling the hammer back to engage the sear and cock the marker after each shot. The "Black Magic Milling" refers to a specific aesthetic design and adjustable features of this rod. 

• Hammer Re-cocking: The cocking rod, which passes through the back block and internal velocity adjuster, is attached to the hammer, is simultaneously pulled back.

• Sear Engagement: The backward movement pulls the hammer back until it is caught and held by the sear in the trigger frame, preparing the marker to fire the next shot.

• Material: It typically utilizes a stainless steel shaft for durability.

• Adjustability: The rod is adjustable in length via its threaded rear knob, allowing for precise marker timing without using a thread locker.

• Improved Grip: The concave profiled design and milling of the knob are intended to provide a better grip for easy removal or installation.

• Bumper: It includes a durable urethane bumper (rather than rubber), which prevents the back block from slamming against the cocking rod knob during operation.
