The WGP Autococker Valve Cup Seal Assembly is to control the flow of high-pressure air into the valve body and to seal the valve shut when the paintball marker is not firing.
• Sealing the valve: The cup seal forms an airtight seal against the face of the valve body, preventing air from leaking out of the barrel or the marker's feed port when the marker is gassed up and at rest.
• Controlling air release: When the hammer strikes the valve stem, it pushes the cup seal forward, briefly unsealing the valve and allowing a burst of high-pressure air to propel the paintball out of the barrel.
• Efficiency and Consistency: A properly functioning cup seal is essential for velocity consistency and air efficiency. If the seal is worn or damaged, it can cause air leaks, leading to inconsistent shots and a loss of pressure.
** Troubleshooting: If an Autococker is leaking air down the barrel, the cup seal or the face of the valve body where it seals is the most common culprit.
